WELL.... IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME.....
MAYBE, I'VE CHANGED MY WAYS....
MAYBE I AM GOING TO TRY TO BE A LITTLE LIKE MY SISTER KRISTI.....
SHE IS AN AWESOME BLOGGER...VERY CREATIVE....AND REALLY FUNNY!
(KRISTI, PLEASE DONT GET A BIG HEAD.....OK!)

TODAY WE CELEBRATED BY DOING A TREASURE HUNT....
CLUES THAT OUR EASTER BUNNY LEFT FOR OUR FAMILY....
I THOUGHT WE COULD START A TRADITION....
DO THE "BASKET THING" ON SATURDAY MORNING AND CELEBRATE THE
TRUE MEANING OF EASTER ON SUNDAY!
PLUS THEY CAN BE SUGARED UP FOR SATURDAY RATHER THAN DURING
CHURCH.....small bonus!

DAN IS GETTING READY TO HEAD OUT TO ATLANTA FOR THE SUMMER....
THE ECONOMIC STRESS ON OUR BUSINESS IS TAKING ITS TOLL....
DAN WILL BE WORKING IN ATLANTA FOR THE SUMMER.... I DON'T
KNOW IF I CAN SURVIVE....BUT I GUESS I HAVE TO TRY........

Well.....I am trying to unload kids hand-me-downs.....man! do I have a lot!(this is an understatement!) Well, lets hope they will help out a family or two....or three....lol.
Actually....we have been very blessed as a family....we have so much....:)

Well, I know I need to set some goals for the New Year!
(here are some that I will share...)
1. I want to be a better wife & mother!
(there's always room for improvement.. no one is perfect, yet!;)
a.Have more patience....w/ kids & dan ;)
b.Take individual time for each child....
c.Give Praise....more than Critique...
d.Be a better organizer....throw out the Junk!
e.Speak with a softer TONE! no,really...:)
f.Keep up on scripture reading & FHE!
2. I want to keep exercising 4 to 5 times a week...
(lose 1 dress size...for my upcoming 20th HS reunion! Yikes!)
3. I want to stay up on my personal scripture study & prayers.
4. I want to attend the temple weekly w/ very few exceptions.
5. Become a better Blogger!!!
6. Be a better listener.....(I'm already a great talker!)
7. Keep in touch w/ friends!(you know who you are...;)

I don't think I can do more than Seven....Seven might be pushing it as is....I let you know how the first few weeks go by.

Well....after all the lights and presents...this holiday season is coming to a close.
It's been a fun holiday w/ the Brooke Clan.... great to get together and visit w/ family & friends!
Looking forward to the next gathering.....maybe a wedding?!;)
As always, I'm thankful for great sister-in-laws....who really love me like a sister!
I miss my own family....in Utah....wish my sis lived a little closer....
